Received a call earlier where they inquired if I had taken advantage of a free O2 5G mobile offer. I simply replied that I had no interest in such a thing. Then they probed about what phone I was currently using. I informed them that I was using my work-issued phone. Their response was rather forceful, questioning why I would choose a work phone over my personal device. I retorted, rather sharply, asking why I’d spend my own money when my employer provides one at no cost. At that point, there was nothing but silence before they hung up on me.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, but when I started asking them some questions, they just ended the call.

The person said they were from EE, but I've read other people say they've pretended to be from O2 as well. I didn’t trust them and cut the call straight away. Then I blocked the number to be safe.
