I missed a couple of calls from this number, and then, weirdly, I received a passcode from my phone provider that I never asked for. Seems pretty obvious to me that they're linked. Looks like a dodgy call to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Adrian from O2, said he could give me a 40% discount on my phone bill. The guy sounded like he was from Pakistan or somewhere similar. The weird bit is, O2 just raised my bill by 17%, so this didn’t add up at all. Told him to call back tomorrow, but I’ll be telling him to shove it then.

My phone buzzed twice from this number and then it just stopped. No message or anything, just silence.

Got a call saying I owed a tax refund from HMRC with a link to click to claim it. Problem is, I don’t even pay tax at all! Totally a scam, watch out everyone.
