Got a call on my work phone, and it’s always either telemarketers or some kind of scam trying to get through. I’ve made it clear on my voicemail that if they don’t leave a message, their number will get blocked. So, after seeing what others have said here, I’m definitely going to start blocking those numbers.

over the past few days ive had 3 calls from someone claiming to be O2, trying to push me into a phone upgrade deal. so annoying!

Got a call from a sketchy bloke with a dodgy connection saying he was from Open Fibre 02. He started off offering 30% off, then bumped it up to 40% if I punched in some code from an automated system they claimed was from 02. I just ended the call straight away. Weirdly, I did get a one-time code by text from 02 later, so I guess they’ve got some way into my account. Tried calling 02 but their offices were shut when I rang. I’ll try contacting them again tomorrow to lock everything down. Honestly, watch out and don’t be fooled by this!

Got a call from a sketchy bloke with a scratchy connection, saying he was from Open Fibre O2 and pushing a 30% discount, then bumped it up to 40% if I keyed in a code they supposedly sent from O2 into some automated system. I just ended the call. Weirdly, I did get a one-time code from O2 by text, so it looks like they've managed to get into my account in some way. Tried ringing O2 but their office was shut! Planning to phone them first thing tomorrow to sort it out... don’t get caught out by this scam!
