Got an email from these people claiming they got my CV from Read. Bit odd since I’d only just made my Read Jobs profile less than a day before. They wanted to set up a Zoom interview, which I never agreed to, thankfully, because then I found this site. Looked them up but couldn’t find any business called “Visionary Vantage Marketing” anywhere. Had a chat with a woman on the phone, then blocked both the number and email as soon as it clicked this was a scam. Proper glad I didn’t go any further, who knows what might’ve happened. Watch out, folks.

Got a call yesterday afternoon outta the blue and they set up a Zoom interview for later that same day. It felt super rushed and I didn’t really get a chance to look into the company (to be honest, I don’t even remember applying there). We had a quick 10 minute chat, and they mentioned their usual work hours are 11am to 8pm. They said they'd schedule another interview this morning, but of course, nothing happened. Just now, I looked up the number and found out it’s a scam! Now I’m kinda stressed about what info they got from me, like my voice and phone number.

I got a call about a job opportunity but when I tried to ask about the company or what role it was, they were pretty vague and wouldn’t give me straight answers. They wanted me to join a Zoom interview on Sunday at 8pm based on when I was free. The whole thing felt unprofessional and sketchy. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

I've had three calls from this number today, and after checking it out, I opted not to pick up. Interestingly, I've also been sending out my CV lately, and I received an email from M&R Solutions as well. Quite the coincidence, wouldn't you say?

What a complete sham! These chaps are still at it. I received a call claiming they had my CV straight from Indeed. Given that I’ve been throwing my hat in the ring for numerous roles lately, I didn't think twice about it. The caller said they represented a company called M&R Solutions-apparently that’s their new name. He wanted to set up a brief Zoom chat to know me better. During our convo, he was rather vague about the positions available and mentioned they were located on Call Lane, Leeds. After doing a bit of digging, I found absolutely nothing online about them. It quickly dawned on me that this was all rather dodgy, so I hopped on here to share my experience. I even attended a second Zoom meeting without signing in, and there were about twenty other participants and just one bloke doing all the talking. When I introduced myself, I boldly stated my suspicions that this was a con, since they seemed non-existent on Google, and I had looked up their number, discovering they were totally fake. He promptly dismissed me with a "best of luck" and booted me from the call. It's so blatantly obvious that there's something fishy going on. They've since emailed me, trying to pry details about my suspicions, but I have no intention of responding to that nonsense. So, just a heads-up, M&R Solutions on Call Lane doesn’t seem to be legitimate. Stay vigilant, everyone!

Got a call from someone saying they were hiring for Limitless Promotions, but I couldn’t find any info about that company anywhere. Seems like it’s fake.

Folks, I urge you to steer clear of this scam! It’s vital not to share any of your personal information, as they aren’t actually located in Birmingham. A quick search will reveal they lack a legitimate business presence-it's all a front. Stay alert and protect yourself!

I got an email from a company in Liverpool saying they’d received my CV and wanted to have a zoom chat to learn more about me. The next day, I noticed a missed call from this number but I didn’t pick up 'cause I didn’t know who it was. Later I found out it was probably the same company from the email, but they didn’t leave any voicemail, which seemed odd if they were genuinely interested in me for a job. After seeing the feedback here, it’s obvious this is some kind of scam.

I recently received an email from a firm in Liverpool indicating they had received my CV and wished to set up a Zoom call to chat further, which struck me as rather odd. The next day, a call came through from that number, but I chose not to pick up as I didn't recognise it. It appears to be linked to the same company from the email, yet they didn’t leave a voicemail, which you would anticipate if they were genuinely keen on discussing a job opportunity. After going through various comments both here and elsewhere, it’s evident that this whole situation screams scam.

I received an email from a firm in Liverpool claiming to have obtained my CV and expressing interest in setting up a Zoom chat to learn more about me. The next day, I got a call from a number I didn't recognise, and I chose not to pick up. It appears to be affiliated with the company that emailed me, yet they didn't leave any voicemail, which one would typically expect if they were genuinely keen on pursuing a candidate for a position. After perusing the comments here, it’s evident that this might just be a scam.

I received a rather unusual phone call around 10:55 this morning. A gentleman introduced himself and claimed, “I’ve got your CV and would like to arrange a Zoom interview with you. I’ll send over a link; all you need to do is click it, and then we can have our chat. Would 5:15pm suit you? Where are you located, and could you provide your email address?” I replied, “Yes, that time works for me. However, if you do have my CV, I would expect you to already know this information.” To which he responded, “Indeed omitted that information before it was forwarded to me.” Feeling a bit wary, I probed further, “Could you kindly tell me the name of your company?” His answer was vague, just “DJ….” He struggled to provide a proper company name. Despite my reservations, I ended up sharing my email address and my town with him, which I already regret. Following that, I attempted to ring the number back. Initially, I faced silence for two attempts; on the third try, a woman picked up. I asked to speak to the man I had spoken with earlier, to which she replied, “Certainly,” but then abruptly hung up.

I received a call from this number, where a woman mentioned that my CV had been sent along to her company and that their manager was keen on interviewing me. This seemed entirely plausible, as I had recently submitted my CV to a recruitment agency and I live in the Liverpool region. The following day, I received a text message from the caller inviting me to a Zoom meeting. However, the company name in the message turned out to be one that ceased operations back in 2020, and to top it off, the Zoom link was connected to a US address. I promptly deleted the text, as it was clearly a scam meant to install harmful software on my device.

Received a text earlier containing a dodgy link that looks like a phishing attempt.

I had a call from this number earlier on, where a woman claimed that her firm had received my CV and their manager was keen to set up an interview. It seemed reasonable since I'd submitted my CV to a recruitment agency and I’m based in Liverpool. The next day, I received a text from the same caller with an invitation to a Zoom meeting. Oddly enough, the company mentioned in the message had been shut down since 2020, and the Zoom link they supplied was registered in the US. Naturally, I deleted the message - it’s clear that link is part of a scam aimed at installing harmful software on my device.

I attempted to return the call to this number, but all I got was a voicemail belonging to a chap named Mathew Carter. I’ve absolutely no clue who he might be.
