Some bloke rang up sayin he was with BT. Lucky for me, I used to work for BT so I saw right through it and shut him down quick.

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent saying his name was David and he was ringing from BT. He insisted it wasn’t a scam, claiming there was an issue with my broadband or my computer might be hacked. He said he was simply checking if my IP address was public or private. I’m not even a BT customer, so why would they be bothered about that? Told him I wasn’t buying it and demanded he remove me from their call list. Definitely gonna block the number. Bet he'll ring back from another number and we’ll have the exact same chat all over again!
