Got a call from Add Energy saying I qualified for some special deal. Sounded fishy so I googled them and realised it’s a scam. Glad I didn’t give out any details. Watch out for this one!

Just got a new scam call, totally silent - must be one of those phishing things. Pretty sure I'll be getting heaps more now I answered it. But hey, I’m ready to mess with them and waste their time instead!

Dolly Gupta and her gang of P4ki scammers are at it again with the whole Home Appliance insurance racket. They're hitting us up on the phone and, so they say, even coming across the Channel in little boats. When my dad used to say "this country’s going downhill," I used to chuckle, but now, forty years later, I see he was spot on. These outsiders just don’t seem to respect our way of life. Honestly, I’m all for sending them straight to Rwanda!

This lady had a weird accent, sort of foreign mixed with an American vibe. She offered to cut down my landline bill. I told her I’m tied up in a contract, and she just said thanks and put the phone down. Looks like a total scam to me, probably someone messing about with hacked phone lines.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent, talking about how I might be overpaying for my landline. I told him that my husband handles all that stuff and I wasn’t able to chat about it. Then the call just cut off. Seemed like a dodgy call centre to me. Watch out!

Bit frustrating that Max barely spoke English and sounded like he was just reading off something. Pretty clear it was a scam trying to convince me I could lower my landline bill. Didn’t let him ramble on for long - he didn’t even seem to know which company he was pitching for! Kept him chatting a bit though, maybe that’ll stop someone else getting caught out by his dodgy spiel. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from this number earlier. It was a woman with a strange foreign accent, talking about my TV and some payment thing like £5 or something. I quickly ended the call before she could say much more.

Got a call from a number that seemed like a scam or maybe just some cold sales call. Not entirely sure if it was a legit company selling extended warranties or just some dodgy scam, but it definitely didn’t sound right to me. I guess my number ended up in their system somehow, probably from some sketchy place. I wouldn’t trust it personally.

I picked up the phone and there was silence for a bit before someone finally said hello, sounded like a call centre to me. Felt dodgy so I just ended the call.
