Got a call from a Liverpool number, 01513759857, with some foreign bloke saying it was an annual life insurance check. When I said I'd ring my insurer back, he started getting all aggressive and rude. He claimed he wanted to make sure I was paying correctly and to let me know about any perks I could get. Didn’t buy it for a second, so I just ended the call. Total scam, no doubt about it!

They kept asking about life insurance so I wanted to know which policy and the reference number it was about. Then the topic switched to whether I had any disabilities, but when I didn’t get any answer about the policy reference, I just ended the call.

They claimed it was about life insurance, but as soon as I said no thanks, they got all rude and just dropped the call. Proper cheeky!

Someone rang me and then accused me of being racist just because I said "you're one of those" meaning one of those bloody people who call up and say I've been in some sort of accident - must have been a right awful knock to the head 'cause I don't recall anything like that.

They put their number down as a way to get back to them but when you try calling back, there's no reply at all. People drowning in debt might feel totally lost and overwhelmed, and the stress of not knowing can push someone to a really dark place, even thinking about ending it all.
