Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach who told me there was an issue with my IP address. It didn’t seem legit at all, so I just hung up pretty quickly.

Got a ring from this number and the voice seemed Asian or Chinese. They claimed to be from BT and said my IP had switched from private to public. They asked me to search 'My IP Address' on Google and then read it out so they could change it back. When I told them I don’t share details with strangers on the phone, they got a bit blunt and just hung up on me. Definitely feels suspicious - don’t hand over any info to these kinds of calls.
