I keep getting calls on my landline - sometimes 8 to 12 times every day, starting from about 8.30 in the morning until nearly 6.30 in the evening. Weirdly, they never seem to ring on Bank holidays though. The phone only rings a couple of times and always stays silent; when it goes to voicemail, no message is left. I tried calling back once, and after a long wait like it was being redirected, I got through to a weird voicemail with a high-pitched voice and a bit of an American accent saying, "Please hold for the next available agent, your call is important to us," but they never say who they actually are or what the call’s about. So now I just ignore the number completely.

I've had this unknown number ring my phone about six times over the past few days. Didn't pick up since I didn't recognise it.
