9 yearsI received a rather odd call regarding a refund for my recent all-inclusive break, claiming it was due to some hygiene blunders on their part. The caller said they had a cheque from the relevant company that they intended to send my way. However, when I probed for simple details like the name of the holiday, its location, and the tour operator involved, they seemed completely stumped. Then, out of the blue, they suggested they’d just send the cheque back to the company? Quite baffling, particularly given that they previously claimed to have no idea which company was involved.
