I recently put up an advert on KSL, and I must say, the language used was quite odd and not very coherent. The message I received seemed rather dodgy; the individual claimed to be interested in my item but couldn’t arrange a viewing due to their work commitments. They requested my full name and address to send a cheque, with an extra £100 as compensation for holding the item until the payment cleared, promising to send movers over once the cheque was sorted. I nearly got caught in the trap, but fortunately, I did a bit of digging and found someone else who’d had a similar experience. I'm grateful for that, as it saved me from a right pickle!
