Today I got a call from this number, an Asian bloke asking if the old owner of my house was there. As soon as I told him he doesn’t live here anymore, he just hung up. This happens all the time since the place I bought was repossessed. I usually get like seven calls a day from all sorts of firms about debts or PPI, mostly from Indian or Asian callers who aren’t very polite. One guy once insisted on speaking to the previous owner and, even though I told him he’s not at this address, he kept demanding my name and I wouldn’t give it. Then he started getting abusive and threatened to ring me a thousand times a day. I’ve given up trying to explain they’re ringing the wrong number and to please remove it from their records. I’ve even been woken up with calls at 1:30 in the morning. This has been going on for nearly five years. I only kept the phone number in case bailiffs show up.

This number keeps ringing me, but as soon as I pick up, they just go silent and hang up. Now it’s been busy every time I try to call back, really strange behaviour.
