Received a voicemail purporting to be from HMRC. The message alleged that there was a tax fraud linked to my name and prompted me to press 1 for further instructions. Subsequently, they requested my banking information. I can confirm this is a scam after verifying with HMRC's suspicious calls webpage. Please, under no circumstances should you provide any payment or personal information. Stay vigilant!

I got a robocall saying it was from HMRC, telling me there was some tax fraud going on with my details - even though they didn’t actually say my name. They told me to hit 1 on the phone and then wanted my card info. Total scam, I checked HMRC’s site and they have a warning about calls like this that are dodgy.
