3 yearsI've had this number ringing me incessantly - six times in just four days! Each time, it only rings for a couple of seconds before cutting off. Oddly enough, my line remains active, and I get greeted by that annoying BT message: "Please hang up and try again." The only way I can finally end this nuisance is by yanking the phone out of the wall and letting it sit for a good ten minutes. Whenever I'm out, I come back to my home phone screeching like a banshee! It’s so shrill that my next-door neighbour assumed it was my alarm blaring away. Of course, when I contacted BT about this, they were as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Their brilliant suggestion? To call the number back... as if!
