This was a total con.

Got a call at 10:48 in the morning from someone claiming to be calling from Microsoft in London, though the caller ID showed a Liverpool number. They were talking about some messages regarding misuse linked to foreign agents. My landline was set to forward to my mobile. I told them I was busy paying at the supermarket and asked them to ring back in a couple of hours. They did call again, but this time the caller ID came up as Medway. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from a woman who sounded Asian, saying she was from Lloyds Bank. She seemed a bit clueless about what she was meant to say, probably a call centre job. I just ended the call straight away. If it was really Lloyds, I’m sure she’d have tried ringing me again, but nope, never heard back.
