Got a ring from this number claiming to be Virgin Media. They said they needed to test my internet speed and asked me to use a device like my phone or an ipad. Then they told me to type stuff into my browser's search bar to show them info that supposedly comes up in a search… sounded dodgy to me! I couldn’t really be sure it was Virgin Media, but a quick online lookup of the number cleared it up. I asked if they were legit and they just hung up on me. Another one right on my block list now!

Got a call from this number 01513392435 today, 26/7/24 at about 10:25, but it was just silence the whole time. Quite annoying.

Some bloke called saying he was from Virgin Media and wanted to check my internet speed. He kept mixing up bits and bytes, which made me think it was a scam. I just ended the call straight away.
