Got a call from a woman speaking with a Scouse accent, loads of noise going on behind her. I mentioned that the call didn’t come across as very professional and she just went quiet. Kept pushing, saying I might be due a refund and it’s worth checking out, even using my name and quizzing me about mortgages, credit cards, and overdrafts. Proper pestering and quite irritating.

A woman called asking for me by my name. I asked if I’d requested this call, but she just brushed that off and kept asking if I had a credit card from Capital One, MBNA, or the like. I asked again if I’d reached out to her company first, and she paused before admitting my number was grabbed from some credit database. I told her to take my info off their list and then ended the call. No way, no how. Absolute morons.
