I got this recorded call claiming they were from BT, saying my internet would be cut off today unless I hit number 1 to talk to someone. It's actually the third time I've had one of these in just a few days, and each time the call came from a different phone number. Pretty annoying!

On 14th November 2018, about 3 in the afternoon, I got a call from someone with an American accent claiming to be from BT, saying my internet connection was about to be disconnected. Thing is, I don't even have BT broadband or any internet with them, so it seemed fishy to me. Just a heads up, this sounds like a scam! The number started with 0151, which is a Liverpool area code here in the UK. I've heard there have been quite a few scam calls coming from that region, all pretending to be from BT. Watch out!
