These chaps are fabricating deceptive web pages that alarm you into thinking your device is under threat from a virus. The only way to escape their site seems to be by dialling their number and coughing up cash for their dubious software. It’s nothing but a con - a total scam through and through! Their so-called website, virusprotectionteam.com, is nothing more than a ruse.

Be cautious, everyone! These charlatans have set up deceitful pages that pop up in your browser, claiming that your device is in danger of a virus. You'll find that you can’t close their page unless you call a specific number and fork out cash for their supposed security software.

What a complete con! Scam, scam, and more scam!

And don’t be fooled by their website, virusprotectionteam.com-it's all nonsense.

Had another couple of calls from this number, claiming to represent Microsoft and urging us to access our computer. It’s got to be a scam, surely!

I’m quite familiar with this particular scam. They rang me up, pretending to be from Microsoft, insisting that they needed to fix my computer and eliminate a virus they claimed was infecting it.
