I received a call from an unknown number, but when I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end, so I ended up hanging up the phone quickly.

I got a call from an Indian lady saying I’d supposedly been in an accident. I told her that wasn’t true, and then she switched to saying someone in my family was involved. She quickly got pretty rude and annoyed. Then, as I was still typing this, the same company ring me again - this time it was an Indian bloke calling himself Michael. Proper annoying!

I picked up a call from a number I didn't recognise, but there was complete silence on the other end. Quite baffling, to say the least! What could that be all about?

Received a call that didn’t bother to speak; they just hung up as soon as I picked up. This happened on the 12th of December, 2017, around 4:59 PM GMT. I don’t even have my number listed publicly, and I’m on the Telephone Preference Service as well. What a nuisance these callers are!

Got a call from an Asian bloke with a really strong accent, talking about some kind of accident. The line kept cutting out and I had to ask him to repeat himself loads of times. He said his name was Jack. I caught the phrase "road accident" and for a moment panicked thinking it was someone I knew, but then I quickly realised something wasn’t right and hung up. Left me feeling pretty uneasy and shook up.

I didn't pick up the call, and honestly, after seeing what others said, I’m pretty relieved I didn’t. The government really needs to step in and stop these callers, given all the complaints they've been getting.

I skipped picking up the phone this round, but the last time some bloke from India went off cursing my mum in really nasty Punjabi. Naturally, I gave it back to him. When I've got time to kill, I like to mimic every single line they say, almost like a cheeky schoolyard joke. It really winds them up, as you can guess.

Got a call from a bloke, sounded like he was Indian, saying he was ringing about an accident claim. Pretty clear it was dodgy, probably fishing for personal info for some identity theft or another scam. Told him he must’ve got the wrong number since I never had an accident. He just dropped the call. Definitely a scam, looks risky!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, saying there’d been an accident. Total scam, just a clueless trick to try and fool someone. I’m on the ex-directory list, so I reckon they’re just dialling random numbers till one answers, maybe even noting down active lines to pass on to other scammers. Honestly, best move is to ignore the call or if you pick up, just hang up straight away and report it to the ICO. Just look up ICO nuisance call reporting. If loads of people report it, they might actually do something about it.

I received a call from a chap who sounded Indian, claiming to represent an accident claims department. However, it was crystal clear to me that this was a classic case of identity theft or some other dodgy scam. I strongly advise against disclosing any personal information to such callers, as it could be quite perilous. I've gone ahead and reported it to the ICO, hoping that if they gather enough complaints, they might take action. If you’re interested, you can look up the ICO’s guidance on reporting nuisance calls. Stay safe!

I received a call on my business line from these individuals, and when I questioned them, they simply ended the call. Now, when I attempt to return the call, I’m greeted with a message stating that the number is not recognised. Quite baffling, really!

Got a call on my home phone earlier but no one answered and it just cut off after a bit. I’ve had calls before about some car crash thing, saying they got my info from some so-called official company, but when I looked it up, there’s no such place! If you ask them anything, they just end the call straight away.

There's this Asian chap who keeps banging on about some accident I was meant to be involved in. Despite my relentless barrage of insults, he wouldn’t let it drop. It was almost as if the more I hammered him, the more he insisted on discussing this fictitious mishap. Eventually, I could tell I was wearing him thin; he ended the call just as I was running out of colourful language to throw his way. It's rather disheartening, really, having to stoop to such levels, but alas, I can't exactly land a blow on him nor force him to pop over for a visit. Instead, I extend the conversation for as long as I can, just to chew up their time - it's the only way I can retaliate, regrettably. I'm absolutely bombarded with these types of calls from this lot. You'd imagine that after all the foul-mouthed tirades I unleash, they'd take the hint and leave me alone, but no such luck. So, I suppose I'll continue to hurl my invective at them. Utter lowlifes, these scamming nuisances!

I've had a few run-ins with this number previously, with them insisting that I've been in a car accident, which is simply untrue. It feels like a rather cunning scheme where, if you've actually been involved in an incident, they’re ready to swoop in and handle a claim for you. Quite the scam, if you ask me!

Received a call from this number earlier today, 27th July 2017. As soon as I answered, the line went silent. A couple of weeks back, I had a similar experience where someone rang claiming I was involved in a car accident. I informed them I don’t even own a vehicle, and they promptly hung up on me. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from a bloke claiming I could claim compensation for an accident from the past year supposedly linked to my phone number. He didn’t know my name or any specifics about the incident - just blatantly fishing, hoping I’d fall for it. When I played along and said I caused the accident myself, he quickly switched tactics and said he could send the money to anyone else who’d been in the car with me since they wouldn’t be at fault. He wouldn’t give up easily, kept pushing the same line over and over.

We had a car crash my wife and I, and I already told my insurance it was my fault. Now this number, 01513240000, won’t stop calling us. They keep ringing my wife trying to push her into making a claim. It’s getting really annoying, like they’re pressuring her or something.

I've been receiving calls from the number 01513240000 regarding a car accident involving my wife and me. I’ve already acknowledged my responsibility to my insurance provider. However, lately, this number has been incessantly hounding my wife, pressuring her to file a claim against me and hinting at potential injuries that may have supposedly resulted from the incident. Frankly, I reckon they’re attempting to coax her into concocting fictitious injuries.
