After waiting ages for the call to connect, some bloke with awful English asked if I was aware my contract with EE had ended. He could barely say my name right. I just told him I was too tied up to talk. Truth is, my contract is up, so he might be an EE rep or maybe just fishing for info. I had a call like this a few weeks ago and saw loads of others complaining about how different the deal was from what they were promised. Last time they actually asked for credit card info - so no way was I falling for their “great” offer.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2 about a contract I’ve never signed, I’m actually on pay as you go. Took me a minute but I realised it was probably a scam.
