The caller from 02 had a sort of foreign accent and kept asking questions but had no idea who I was. Every time I get calls like these, they put me on alert. I told her it’s against the law to cold call like that, then suddenly the line just cut off.

Some guy rang me with a thick Indian accent, saying he was from O2 and had a 40% discount on my phone. When I told him I doubted he was really from O2, he got really pushy. I told him I don’t trust these sort of offers over the phone and asked him to send me an email with the info instead. Guess what happened? He just hung up on me!

I've been getting persistent calls from a bloke who's been incredibly confrontational. He's ringing me non-stop, every few minutes, and even reached out on his personal mobile: 07700 134479. It's quite unnerving, to say the least.

Somebody called saying I'd been charged too much, like £202 or something, and said I was owed money back. I told them I didn’t trust it and asked what proof they had. Then they got a bit pushy and just asked if I wanted the refund or not! Definitely felt like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with 02, offering a massive 30% discount. They were really pushy about it and kept saying I should ring 02 directly myself. After a bit, I just told them to buzz off.

Someone rang saying they were from EE offering a discount, but when I asked about my account, they seemed clueless. I ended the call and he rang right back straight away. He wasn’t having it when I said I didn’t trust him. In the end, I had to block the number.

I got a call from someone saying they were with O2 and trying to give me a discount, but then they asked for my OTP code. Apparently, with that code, they can open your account, switch your address, and buy a pricey phone. This time it was a woman named “Jennifer” who spoke with a strong Indian accent. It’s the third time in a couple of weeks I’ve had calls like this - one from London, another from Northern Ireland, and now one claiming to be from Liverpool. When I told her I’d already sorted a discount with someone else, she sounded a bit let down and just ended the call.
