I received a phone call from someone who introduced himself as John. He was keen to promote some vague mobile phones along with equally unclear SIM plans, all purportedly free of charge. I expressed my disinterest, yet he continued to ring me incessantly.

There’s this bloke who goes by John, definitely a scammer. He’s super condescending, keeps saying ‘ma’am’ at the start and end of every sentence, even if you’re a bloke. He promises a free mobile phone with some vague SIM plan, but it’s all rubbish. If you call him out on it, he gets really clever with his insults that honestly make you chuckle like mad. Best to just avoid answering when this number rings.
