Just got another ring from some bloke named Alex, claiming to be from some solar company or whatever. I'm absolutely sick to death of these calls! No matter how often I report them to BT or the like, it’s like shouting into the void - they just won’t quit. What’s the use of the TPS if it can’t block this nonstop annoyance? It’s really taking a toll on me, especially since I’m still grieving for my dear daughter. These calls just keep flooding in and it’s so hard to cope. I honestly feel for anyone who just wants to give up dealing with all this.

Today at about 2.41pm, I got a call on my landline from 01513 128452. The person said they worked for a solar company and that they could get me solar panels installed cheaper to save on my electric bills. They also mentioned I’d get another ring back in half an hour to go over any questions, but I never did. My number is signed up with TPS, but it clearly doesn’t prevent these annoying sales calls at all.

Honestly, I’d never recommend ringing back unknown numbers - it could end up costing you loads or be some kind of dodgy premium rate scam! Got a call from a man using the number 01513128452 on our old landline listed under the home owner’s ex-directory phone. He wanted to know if the homeowner was above 55, saying there was a free Medical Alert Pendant available if that’s the case. When I asked who he was and how he got the number, he just went silent. I ended up hanging up. Seems like a total scam to me.

Had a call from Driveway Centre, some bloke named John, who reckoned I still had a driveway or somethin’. I told him nicely to stop bothering me. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a call like this about the same thing. Never asked for them to ring or put in any sort of online request about driveways, so I’m pretty sure this kind of spam is against the law.
