For sure a scam call. Some automated voice warning about my card being charged over £500 and a much bigger transfer. Press 1 or 2 to speak to someone… yeah, right. Got two calls back to back just like that. The initial one came from another number, but I didn’t catch it down. Just watch out for these dodgy calls, they’re everywhere.

Got a call from a lady with an American accent saying she was from the "Security Department" - didn't say which bank though. She claimed there were two strange transactions on my card and told me to press 1 to confirm them. I just hung up straight away. Seems like a classic scam to me, but I'll ring my bank later just to be sure.

Most of the time, when the phone quits after about 4 or 5 rings, I reckon it's just one of those cold calls.
