I kept getting calls from TalkTalk about a debt I supposedly owe, even though I already sorted everything out with them. I had to block the number since the calls wouldn’t stop. They’re still trying to ring, but luckily it doesn’t actually connect anymore.

For months now, DRS keep ringing me non-stop about some debt they claim I owe to Talk Talk, but Talk Talk themselves have told me there’s no outstanding balance. They really don’t give up. What started as a supposed debt of £37 has magically increased to nearly £200. I even managed to speak with someone a few weeks ago and requested they leave me alone. They paused the calls for a bit, but now it’s back to the constant ringing. Does anyone know how I can put a stop to this once and for all?

I cancelled TalkTalk back in Nov 2022 and didn’t owe them a penny. Took half a year and loads of calls to different TalkTalk reps worldwide before someone actually fixed the billing mess. Now I get a call from 01513054958. Missed it, checked here and turns out it's them. Blocked straight away. I’ve wasted enough time and cash trying to sort these muppets out for months. Fingers crossed it’s really TalkTalk and not some scammer using their numbers.

I got a dodgy email pretending to be from a debt collector called Ardent Credit Services. It said I owe about £142 for a car insurance policy I’d already cancelled and urged me to act fast. The email looked proper and quite legit, so it was hard to tell if it was a scam. I looked up Ardent Credit Services online and they do seem to be a genuine company. The phone number they gave to speak to an ‘agent’ was included in the email. But when I googled that number, loads of scam alert sites had flagged it. Just be careful with this one.

Got a call today from 01513054958, they said I had to answer some security questions or they wouldn’t talk to me. I flat out refused and asked who they were. They said it was TalkTalk, some woman with a Scouse accent. I told them to jog on - they’ve been bombarding me with emails, texts and letters about a final bill for ages now. I left TalkTalk ages ago and paid everything off. Seems like they’ve messed up their security somewhere! Plus, when you reply to their texts, they bounce back saying undelivered from Postmaster. Watch out, this smells like a proper scam.

Some bloke with a Liverpool accent kept saying he needed to run me through security questions. I just said "you called me first, who even are you and what's this about?" He goes on that he can't speak unless I do the security checks. I wasn't having any of it. Then he said he’d send something in the post to the address they supposedly have for me. Weird, innit?

I just got a call from this number. Ardent Credit Services messaged me saying they've linked my phone to someone they’re trying to find, but that person is nothing to do with me. When I told them to fix their info, they wanted my personal details, which I didn’t give. I just kept telling them to take my number off their list and let me know once it’s done.

Back in Jan 2018, I got a bunch of robo calls on my answerphone from 0151 305 4958.
