But something felt off because the phone number they gave in their email with the right debt amount is not the same as in the text I got - it’s just one digit different at the end. When I first got the call, my phone even flagged it as possible spam. On top of that, the money they wanted didn’t match what I actually owe. Definitely seems dodgy to me.

So I got a call from Ardent Security or some debt collection agency saying I owe money to Vodafone. Thing is, I’ve never had a Vodafone contract in my life! I told the lady this, and she said I’d have to answer some security questions to sort it out. I told her there was no way I could as I don’t have an account with them, and then she just hung up on me! Sounds like a total scam to me, and I’ve blocked the number now.

I received a message from this number, and my phone flagged it as suspicious, so I promptly blocked them. They then had the audacity to ring me up, claiming to work for a company called Ardent or something similar. When I inquired about their business, they casually revealed they were debt collectors. I played along and said they were looking for some Miss X, but I cheekily told them she had unfortunately passed away. How ironic, considering that’s actually me-made me chuckle! 🤣
They didn’t bother to gather any further information, so I suppose this cheeky northerner will just have to update their records with my name alone. Very amusing, really! Now I can rest easy, knowing I've had a laugh at their expense! 😂

I keep receiving letters and messages regarding a Vodafone debt, and I believe the bloke’s name is Steven, some Scouse character. I recently signed up for a contract with Vodafone, so I honestly thought the call was on the level. The letter threatened that I’d be slapped with an extra £100 on my bill if I didn't cough up within five days. Naturally, I paid them, but now they won’t stop bombarding me with texts! The first couple claimed they had sent me an email concerning my account, while the remaining ones urged me to give them a ring. I'm on a £10 a month pay-as-you-go contract with a direct debit, yet I don’t even touch the SIM or use the number at all, so there's absolutely no chance of any outstanding balance. Yet, here they are texting me on an entirely different number that has no connection. Feels incredibly suspect, if you ask me!

This number has called me quite a few times, I usually just let it go to voicemail. Decided to pick up this time and told them to remove my number from their list. What’s a bit odd is they seem to know your name already, which is a bit concerning. I’m also on the TPS but it doesn’t seem to stop these calls. Will wait and see if they ring again. If you get a call from this number, I’d just recommend not answering.

Had a call from a chap claiming to be from Ardent, representing Vodafone. He was pressing me for my security information but couldn’t really explain the reason behind it. Been hassled by Ardent over some Vodafone “debt”. When I told them to stop, they sent a message apologising for losing me and even gave a PAC code to switch my number. Thing is, if you start using a new number, they still bill you for the old one without you noticing. Before you know it, you’ve built up a “debt”. This is Ardent from Vodafone about some debt. I've already sorted the debt but they keep pestering me with calls, texts and emails starting as early as 8 in the morning. The debt and the amount were legit, it's just how badly they manage everything thats the issue.

They called me this morning looking for my son. When I asked who was on the line, they said Ardent. They wanted me to get him to ring them back, so I asked what it was about. They said it was personal, so I just said no, especially as he doesn't even live here anymore. I decided to check the number online and found loads of info about it. Turns out someone opened a dodgy account with Vodafone in his name. It's all sorted now - account closed and Vodafone is checking it out for fraud - but I reckon this call was connected to that.

This number called me and when I picked up, a woman asked if I was "First Name, Surname" (how she knew my name beats me). I said yes. She said she was from Ardent about something to do with my Vodafone. I asked what it was about. Then she said she needed to verify my address for security reasons. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that and asked her what exactly she wanted. She kept saying she needed to confirm security first before telling me anything. In the end, I said I didn’t want to continue and if Vodafone needed me, they could phone me instead. She just hung up after that.
