Honestly, it was all quite ludicrous. I attempted to clarify that I'd just updated my life insurance last month, but he was insistent, waving off my comments and absurdly suggesting that upcoming government changes would mean all older policies would be scrapped. The whole conversation reeked of a scam, and I realised I was being hustled into considering a new policy I didn’t need.
