I got a call earlier from 0151 303 0168, a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from some Life Insurance company. He said my current life insurance wasn’t good enough and that if I didn’t act soon, my policies would be cancelled next month. The whole thing sounded dodgy. I told him I’d just renewed my life cover last month, but he kept going on about government changes messing up all existing policies. It was clear nonsense, so I quickly ended the call as it seemed like a scam to get me to buy a new plan. Did not catch his name or company.

Got a call from some bloke with an accent claiming he was ringing from Legal & General about my life cover. Turns out, he wasn’t with them at all. Not really the way to win me over, pretending like that. Also, when I asked him to speak proper English ‘cause I couldn’t catch what he was saying, he just cut me off. Definitely not Legal & General.
