Phone number ☎️ 01513030031 👆 is reported as a phone number primarily used by a third-party sales team working on behalf of Currys, contacting customers after recent purchases to confirm delivery details and offer extended warranty or insurance plans. While many callers confirm the legitimacy of these calls, noting that no personal or bank details are requested unless opting into a care plan, a significant number of users report abrupt hang-ups or suspicious behaviour when declining offers. Some warn of potential scams impersonating Currys, emphasising caution around sharing sensitive information and advising to block the number if unsure. Overall, it appears to be a legitimate but persistent telemarketing line, with mixed reception due to its pushy sales approach and occasional customer suspicion.

Third party company that Currys passes your details to when you make a purchase. Block the number on your phone. You DO NOT need to confirm anything with them for your delivery. They are only interested in SELLING INSURANCE/WARRANTY products you don't need. Your new item has a 12month warranty, so why would you buy one for the first year? You're also covered for at least 5years under UK consumer law if you check the Martin Lewis site. BLOCK THE NUMBER.

I got a call from Currys about confirming my order and delivery, but really they were trying to push their care and repair package. I had already picked that option when I checked out, but when I told the guy this, he just ended the call straight away without even a goodbye. Bit rude if you ask me.

Got a call from Currys to double-check my delivery details and timing. It was really useful, especially since I've had problems with other companies messing up deliveries because my place is a new build. They didn’t push any extra stuff like warranties or anything, which I appreciated - unlike some others who’ve had that experience.

Bought a washing machine from Currys and I specifically told them not to contact me with sales calls, whether by phone or email. I was careful to untick that option too. But somehow they disguised the call as a simple "just checking your delivery date" chat. Yeah, I’m well aware of when it’s coming, I picked and paid an extra £20 for that info. Turns out, they’re just trying to push the extended warranty on you. Feels a bit dodgy, like it's not even Currys calling but some third party they’ve hired. Proper sneaky, if you ask me.

Just got a missed call from this number after ordering something online from Currys. Looks like from the reviews here it's probably them ringing to try and push an extended warranty, which I didn't sign up for. Really annoying when companies call you right after you make a purchase. Didn't pick up so can't say how aggressive they get though.

Someone phoned me to check if I’d got a text from DPD about when my delivery would arrive. Then he tried to sell me insurance for the item I ordered. I’d already bought insurance with the product, so it seemed odd he didn’t know that. I just cut the call short after that.

I received a call from this number just a day after I bought a dishwasher from Curry’s. They seemed to know when it was set to be delivered and attempted to persuade me into buying some kind of care package, asking me to provide my bank details over the phone. I’m convinced this is a right con job! I reached out to Currys and, to my surprise, the young woman on the line found it rather amusing. Naturally, they're not inclined to take any action. She claimed she’d connect me with their fraud team but instead handed me a number for Action Fraud. I will definitely report it to them, but I can't help but ponder how these scammers are obtaining folks' personal information. It has to indicate some sort of vulnerability within Currys' security measures, yet they seem utterly disinterested in the matter.

I’ve noticed quite a few folks claiming this is a dodgy operation, but I honestly don’t buy into that. I ordered a fridge from Curry's the other day, and they called me up to confirm the delivery date. During the chat, they even inquired whether I wanted a warranty for it. I simply declined, and they seemed perfectly alright with my decision. Doesn’t strike me as anything shady at all!

I just had a chat with that lot (after perusing this site). I reckon I can safely say that it’s indeed CURRYS. My order's set for pick-up from the shop, and they just verified when it would be ready for collection. They even suggested adding damage protection. Not once did they request any of my personal information. If this was some sort of con, it was a rather poor attempt!

I just got a call from this number that's been flagged all over the internet as a potential scam. I reached out on their live chat, and they assured me they’ve done thorough checks but couldn’t find any record of this number making calls. But according to the live chat support, they reckon it's not trustworthy based on their information. Best to stay alert!

Someone claimed to be from Currys, mentioned the product I’d ordered (which they knew), and asked if I wanted it delivered or to pick it up. I asked why they were ringing me since I usually get emails. They kept talking about my delivery time and all that. I told them I was already aware. This is Currys/PC World customer service calling from a third party call centre. They contact you to confirm delivery slots and attempt to sell you a care plan. If you accept, they’ll ask for your bank info. Expect a call within 1 to 2 days after you make an order through these stores.

Funny how folks reckon it's Curry's. I did buy something from Curry's just yesterday, so it could be them, but I never pick up dodgy calls. If it is a proper company, I'm surprised they haven't left any voicemail! I’m not expecting anything else, so no way I’m ringing back. Also, I keep missing a call at almost the same time from 0151 456 0636. Dunno if it’s linked, but they didn’t leave a message either, so I’m not bothering to call back.

I began a conversation and then got interrupted after a brief greeting. I'm uncertain if it was a legitimate call or not, but I will definitely remain cautious regarding such calls in the future.

I reached out to Currys directly and can assure you, this isn't a fraudulent scheme. They verified it's all above board.

This is actually a real Currys number offering aftercare insurance, but the annoying part is how rude they get when you decline. As soon as I said 'No', the bloke just hung up on me. You’d think they’d have some manners and say thanks or sorry for any inconvenience.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Currys, attempting to peddle products over the phone. I'm a bit sceptical about its authenticity, as I have a lingering suspicion that it could be a scam. The voice on the line came across as rather untrustworthy.

I've never made a purchase from Curry's, yet I've had a few calls from this number. I chose not to pick up, and there was just a garbled mumble on the voicemail. I decided to block them, but they keep calling back-it's been at least six times now!

It seems like this could either be from Curry’s or perhaps a telemarketing crew acting on their behalf. Although it doesn't appear to be a fraudulent scheme in the traditional sense, I would regard it as a classic example of a contemporary commercial trickery. They’re peddling a subscription service for a product care and repair package which, let's be honest, would be completely unnecessary for at least a year on a brand new purchase. Personally, I wouldn't dream of committing to such an arrangement, yet I can see how others might find their proposal appealing.

I had a call from Currys, and it felt pretty authentic since they mentioned my name and referred to my most recent purchase. They didn’t pry for any personal information; their main aim appeared to be peddling insurance coverage for the item I bought.

Got a voicemail from 01512001531 claiming there was over £900 spent fraudulently on my visa card. I haven't responded since I don't recognise it at all. I’m based in the Wirral area, close to Liverpool (0151).

I think 01513030031 is probably Currys from Liverpool. I ordered a fridge freezer yesterday and this number called me. Weird part was nobody said a word. I had it on speaker for like 4 minutes before I just hung up.

My phone went ahead and blocked this number already, I think it might be from Currys or something like that. If it is, what a right nuisance. Cheers to this website, I’m just gonna ignore any calls coming from it now.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Currys, but it felt really dodgy. They only had bits of my delivery details right and tried to push some care and repair plan for like £2, which is way less than what’s on their site (£45). It didn't feel professional at all, made me think it was a total scam.

It’s unquestionably a dodgy call! I mean, honestly, who calls you at seven in the evening and then just goes silent the moment you answer?

they rang me two times today. from what I’ve seen in other comments, it might be connected to currys pc world. I bought something from their online shop yesterday and it arrived today, so maybe it’s legit. that said, the number was already on my block list so i didn’t pick up anyway.

They rang me two times today. Seen from others saying its linked to curry’s pc world. I bought stuff from their site yesterday and got it delivered today, so maybe it’s legit. Still, the number was already blocked on my phone so I didnt even get to pick up.

I bought something from PC World a couple days ago and then this number rang me up. Looking it up here, seems like others got calls from them after buying from PC World or Currys. Decided to block it now.

I received a call from this number earlier in the day but chose not to answer, as there was no message left. A few hours later, they rang again, and I decided to pick up. The chap on the line claimed to be from Currys PC World and commenced asking about whether my order was for collection or delivery, and so forth. Naturally, I was a bit taken aback and remarked that if he indeed was with Currys, he ought to have access to that information. Strangely, he told me he did not have that data. When I probed further, inquiring if he was affiliated with a third-party service for Currys, he insisted that he was directly with them. He then became rather inquisitive about the reason behind my purchase-whether it was a new acquisition or a replacement, etc. I was uncomfortable sharing that information and politely declined. The conversation concluded rather swiftly. I’m left pondering whether this might be some sort of scam or merely a tactic employed by Currys PC World to collect customer details.

I had a chat with Currys regarding my delivery, and they didn't request any passwords or personal details. The information I received about the time slot was genuinely helpful. So, I can confidently say this isn’t a dodgy operation!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from PC World, saying they needed my personal info about an Apple watch I supposedly bought. They refused to say why they were calling unless I gave them details. But I ordered the watch only yesterday and it arrived today, so I don’t see why they’d need to call. When I asked what the call was about, I just hung up. Felt really suspicious.

they said they were from curry’s about dropping off a tumble dryer, telling me to just let them in and keep out of the way while they did the delivery. when i started asking stuff, they just stopped me and ended the call abruptly.

I made a call regarding my order. The chap on the other end seemed rather professional and was well-informed about the details of my purchase. That said, he did repeatedly use the term "sweet," which was a bit of a red flag for me.

Definitely not a scam! I had a chat with someone from the Currys sales department. Initially, when I got that first call, the call centre mentioned it wasn’t really them, which threw me into a bit of a panic. So, I rang Currys again during my second attempt to clarify things, and this time the adviser reassured me it was indeed their team reaching out. They were simply checking on my online order and confirming the delivery schedule. All sorted now!

Don't be fooled - it's just their sales team at work. This is classic Currys behaviour! Chances are, you’ll receive another call from that very number when your warranty runs out in a year, prodding you about extending it. It’s obvious that the call centre staff haven’t got the foggiest idea what’s really going on.

I received a phone call earlier today from someone purporting to be from Curry's. They seemed to have all my details and even referenced my order. Then, rather abruptly, they inquired whether I'd be interested in taking out insurance on my item, but to proceed, they requested my card details. It struck me as a bit dodgy, so I suggested they ring me back in thirty minutes while I did a bit of digging. Funny enough, they never followed up.
