However, I pressed 1 this time out of sheer curiosity and ended up waiting on hold for what felt like an eternity, only to have no one ever pick up the call. I was wondering if they would request my banking information since they were alleging to be HMRC. It genuinely worries me that some unsuspecting individuals might divulge their personal details.
