I missed a call that went straight to voicemail. The message claimed it was from HMRC and warned that if I didn't press 1 to connect, they’d issue a warrant for my arrest. Pretty clearly a scam.

Got a call from 01515447084 and they claimed to be from my bank. It sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from 0181 284 7145 claiming there was an issue with my National Insurance number. Sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call telling me my life insurance was nearly up, but I’ve never even had life insurance. They transferred me to some other department, where a lady said she’d check different companies for better prices. When I asked her for my policy number, she had no clue. She wanted to call me back the next day, I said okay, then she blocked my number. Strange experience!

My mum got a call from this number, some scam attempt, but she was polite and said no. After that they started making threats, even saying they knew where we lived and would come round to ‘sort us out’. It’s totally illegal and feels like our info was leaked by some other firm to these jokers. We’ve reported it to the cops now. The number seems to be linked to the St Helens area.

I had someone ring claiming they wanted to update my details for Aviva life insurance. Asked for my info, which seemed a bit off, so I wasn't too keen to share.

I answered this number but there was no one on the other end. After a bit, a robot voice said goodbye and the line went dead.

Watch out for these voice recognition scams, they're everywhere! Really annoying how they try to trick you using your own voice. Stay cautious, don’t fall for it!
