I received a call from a debt recovery agency, despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It felt quite intrusive, especially right after we'd clarified that we weren't in any financial trouble. So, rather than engaging, we politely asked them to pause, then placed the phone down. Remarkably, the caller gave up in just a couple of minutes! It strikes me as a rather effective method to handle these situations - wasting their time in return for the annoyance they've caused me.

I've been receiving calls from this marketing outfit known as Final Demands. It appears they are a debt recovery agency targeting businesses in need of their services. When we returned their call, we were met with courtesy, which was nice, but they really shouldn't have contacted us in the first place since we are registered with both the TPS and FPS systems. It's a bit frustrating, to be honest!

I have a suspicion this firm is linked to accident claims! They wouldn’t stop prattling on about an incident I supposedly had a hand in and how I was entitled to some sort of payout. The relentless calls eventually wore me down, and I just started ignoring them altogether!

I've encountered yet another debt collecting firm, and to my annoyance, they wouldn't reveal their identity to me.
