So, I got a call from “The Football Pools” the other day. Apparently, it's a company created after merging a few old pools like Vernons, Zetters, and Littlewoods. They brought them all together and gave it the new name “The Football Pools” back in 2008. I looked it up and they're based out of Liverpool, which explains the number on my phone.
