I keep getting bombarded by this automated calling system that rings me a minimum of six times daily. Most of the time, there's absolute silence on the other end, but every now and then, a person comes on who sounds like they’re from India. They insist they need to gain access to my computer, and I can’t help but think it’s just a ruse to pull off some dodgy scam.

I received a rather peculiar phone call today around lunchtime. The caller, who claimed to be a provider for internet services, asserted that there was an issue that needed addressing. When I questioned whether he required my bank information to scamming me, he launched into a tirade of profanities. I promptly ended the call, but he had the audacity to ring back. Curiously, he then inquired about my age and even posed a rather bizarre question about whether I was a nudist, all while continuing to hurl abuse. While I’m not easily bothered, I can imagine how unsettling this experience could be for someone more susceptible.

I keep receiving multiple calls throughout the day from someone insisting that they require access to my computer because my internet hub is supposedly sending out error alerts. They always start by asking which internet service provider I use, only to pretend to be from that company thereafter.
