I've heard this is linked to some efax outfit that's been sending loads of spam emails packed with all sorts of links. You really shouldn't be clicking any of these as they might be phishing attempts or something dodgy. If someone genuinely needs to get in touch, why on earth would they fake being an efax service that forces you to click a link to read the message? They could just put the info straight in the email. Seems to me they're just trying to get you to click so they know your email is legit, but honestly, it's not worth putting yourself at risk over it.

I've seen some dodgy emails coming from what looks like an eFax service, but they’re actually spam loaded with heaps of links. Honestly, don't tap any of those links - they’re likely phishing attempts or something harmful. If someone genuinely wants to contact you, why fake an “eFax” that forces you to click a link just to see the message? They could just put the message in the email itself. Feels like they’re just trying to get you to click so they know your email’s active, but it’s really not worth the risk.
