Got a call at about 9.03 in the morning from someone claiming to be from BT’s fraud team, saying my line would be disconnected soon. I hung up straight away and mentioned that the number was showing as Liverpool. They then admitted their fraud department isn’t actually located in Liverpool and said it was likely a scam. Definitely don’t press any keys if they ask you to!
