Got a call from a bloke saying he was with BT and that my internet and landline were about to get disconnected. He gave me two choices: press 1 to sort it out or press 2 for some other option. Sounded dodgy to me.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Dave Williams from BT, stating that they were going to cut off my internet due to some supposed illegal activity. When I probed further and asked for more details about their identity, they abruptly hung up on me. It certainly felt like a dodgy scam, so I've blocked the number and reported it to my actual provider, who isn't BT.
