Got a ring from a firm named 1st Response. Ended up blocking the number but they kept calling me from a different one, still the same company and same guy I talked to before. A woman said she was from a place called First Response. Right away I mentioned I’m signed up with the TPS. She tried saying I wouldn’t understand why she was ringing but I cut her off and said it didn’t matter since it was an unwanted call anyway. I ended the call while she kept babbling on.

I told them I was at work when I got the call about my recent accident, trying to be polite. Their reply was just "that’s not my problem." When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they started swearing and being really nasty! They rang me on 26th July (like I said before) and then again on 31st July. This time a woman with a Liverpool accent said she was from "Arc Legal" and asked how I was doing in a really polite way. She claimed it was about some car damage that wasn’t my fault. I began telling her how awful it must be to have a job where you bother people all day, and then she just cut me off. I reckon I’m more than entitled to give these lot a bit of grief now if that’s how they treat “customers”!

This number rings me EVERY SINGLE DAY, like at least 10 times a day!!! And that's the minimum, sometimes it's even more! It's honestly driving me nuts and I find it really ANNOYING. I've never picked up cause it just rings once or twice and then hangs up! On one occasion, I did speak to someone who claimed to represent ARC Legal. However, when I contacted ARC directly, they assured me that they had no affiliation with these calls. Got a call today from 01512316788. The person asked for me by my first name with a really friendly tone, asking how I was doing!!! Which I find annoying. When I asked who they were, they said they didn’t want to spoil my day but it was ARC legal regarding a motoring accident I supposedly had. I’ve never had any accident, plus I’m on the TPS list. Got a call from this number yesterday evening. I quickly got in touch with Telephone Preference Service (TPS) / Corporate TPS and reported it, as we’ve been signed up with them for a while now. Today, I got an email from TPS confirming they’d received my complaint. They explained the steps they’ll take, like reaching out to the company to look into it, reminding them about the regulations and saying "We’ll also request they don’t bother you again".

Following on from what I said before, if they keep ringing you despite your complaints, you should reach out to the TPS once more. They'll then pass your case on to the Information Commissioner's Office. Usually, the company will stop bothering you, but the ICO can step in with tougher measures, which might lead to a court-imposed fine. Got a call about some road traffic accident I supposedly had (no idea what they were on about). Told the bloke my number is on the TPS. Like others have pointed out, when you pick up, all you get is some robot voice saying goodbye. They keep ringing like 2 or 3 times daily, it's so annoying.

Some bloke phoned asking for my daughter about something that happened in March. I told him there’s no problem and asked him to stop calling and bothering her. Then he goes, “Who’s this?” I said I’m her dad and he rudely replied that she can speak for herself and they’ll keep calling about a claim. I told him to stop and he just hung up on me. So disrespectful. Tried calling the number back to complain but, shocker, it won’t connect. Honestly, don’t pick up if these lot ring you and block their number straight away.

I've been receiving incessant calls from this number, and despite my requests for them to take my details off their list, the callers respond with outright hostility. It’s quite absurd! They keep insisting I’ve been involved in an accident and turn nasty when I dare to question how they obtained that information or my phone number. Honestly, I value my privacy immensely, and only a select few have access to my mobile number. It’s infuriating how they can’t handle a bit of questioning-once they’re challenged, they resort to rudeness and simply hang up.

So I picked up and this woman with a scouse accent started saying I’d had some accident within the last couple of years. I was like “Have I?” She kept going, asking again “Have you had an accident in the past two years?” I replied, “How am I supposed to know? You tell me, maybe I have?” Then she said if I was gonna mess about she’d just mark it down to keep ringing me non stop. Alright then, let’s see who wins this game 🤷‍♂️

Some bloke named Paul rang me about a supposed accident from 16th November two years back. The info he gave was completely untrue and he claimed it was from the National Accident Helpline. He refused to give a company address and when I mentioned reporting him to the Information Commissioner's Office, he said that office wasn’t real. When I kept questioning him, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from an accident advice line. I answered with a quick hello and she just went quiet, not saying a word for like 15 to 20 seconds. I ended up hanging up and have blocked the number now.

I received a call on my mobile this morning from a chap who identified himself as David. However, his accent was rather hard to pin down. When I mentioned that I had no accidents to report and requested he remove my number from their calling list, he became quite aggressive and rude. He obnoxiously informed me that he’d ring whenever he pleased and uttered some rather offensive language. It’s absolutely ridiculous! Whoever is behind this needs to be dealt with promptly!

Some eejit called me up and didn’t even know my name or where I live but somehow claimed to know about a car crash I supposedly had - which is complete rubbish, never happened. I played along for like five minutes, told him it was a bizarre coincidence cos I’d just been involved in an accident. He kept going, so I asked if he was even paying attention. He just went, “What?” and I ended the call there and then.

What an absolute pain in the neck! Every time I ignore their call, they just ring me back straight away. 😡 I've blocked the number, but I suspect they're just altering it by a single digit because not too long ago I had to block a number that was strikingly similar. It's quite maddening!
