They've been calling me twice daily for about four days now, usually around 4pm and 6pm. Every time I pick up, it's just dead silence with the dial tone sounding. Sometimes I answer straight away on the first ring and still, nothing but that tone. Feels dodgy to me - I’m pretty sure it isn’t anything to do with the NHS.

Pretty sure it was Wirral Hospitals who rang me on Sunday afternoon. They messed up my name badly and left me with no proper option other than to do what they said - which honestly felt like it could’ve been a scam - or just end the call. I chose to hang up, but now I’ve got to spend tomorrow chasing their appointments team to check if it was legit and if that message even mattered. Properly sloppy if you ask me.

Considering his condition, it should be common knowledge for them to contact me and not my father.
