They've been calling me twice daily for about four days now, usually around 4pm and 6pm. Every time I pick up, it's just dead silence with the dial tone sounding. Sometimes I answer straight away on the first ring and still, nothing but that tone. Feels dodgy to me - I’m pretty sure it isn’t anything to do with the NHS.

Pretty sure it was Wirral Hospitals who rang me on Sunday afternoon. They messed up my name badly and left me with no proper option other than to do what they said - which honestly felt like it could’ve been a scam - or just end the call. I chose to hang up, but now I’ve got to spend tomorrow chasing their appointments team to check if it was legit and if that message even mattered. Properly sloppy if you ask me.

Since he’s got loads of different hospital visits booked, I had to ring around to figure out who had called him. I ended up calling all the hospitals and one’s still trying to find out... none of them knew anything about it. It’s taken me all day and I still haven’t got to the bottom of it. Everyone who deals with him knows they need to call me, not him, because of his dementia. This situation’s been such a hassle - money, time, the stress - it’s ridiculous. Got a call from that number earlier, some voice claiming to be from Arrowe Park Hospital security asking for my date of birth. I asked why he needed it and he said it’s for security, they’re checking we’re still using the app because it’s important. I called the clinic I go to at APH and they confirmed they do hire an outside company to make these calls. Seems legit, nothing dodgy.
