2 yearsSomeone rang my elderly mum pretending they were from Santander. They told her that a large sum of cash was about to leave her account, which really upset her. Mum quickly ended the call. She then tried to visit the bank, but because of her disability, she couldn’t manage it properly. When we checked with the bank, they confirmed it was a scam and said they never phone on a landline.
