I got a message from a woman’s voice saying it was from MASTERCARD about a £600 purchase made on my card just ten mins ago, but from abroad. It said if I wanted to cancel the payment and block my card, I should press 1 to talk to customer service. The weird part is, the call wasn’t even voice activated - as soon as I answered, the message started without any prompt.
