Got a call from some scammer asking me about an accident I never even had. When I said I actually had been in one, they didn’t seem very happy. Let him talk for a bit about who they were and what they could do, then I told him the "accident" was me having a bit of an embarrassing accident myself.

Got a call from a firm called RME or maybe TME, some bird with a proper squeaky Liverpudlian accent. I asked if I’d ever bought their stuff or asked them to ring me, and she just shouted “What!” right back at me and then cut me off. Honestly, fair play to O2 for flogging my number to every muppet with a cold call list :-/

No idea who kept calling me, but after getting 5 calls in one day, I finally picked up. The person said something about a holiday I supposedly took last year and that there were hidden cameras in the hotel bathrooms, and said I could get all my money back. When I asked them for details like which hotel or what holiday, they just hung up. Totally a scam - don’t bother answering these calls, it just messes with your head and makes you feel like someone’s spying on you, like it did with me.

somebody rang me about a car accident i had a couple months back. they said they could help with insurance claims since it wasnt my fault. i asked loads of times for their company name, address, and stuff, but they just dodged the questions or pretended not to hear. felt really dodgy to me. definitely not planning to go near this lot or any calls like that again.

These non-fault car crash lawyers seem like they're just chasing ambulances trying to get new clients. I can't really tell if this is a genuine business or not. Haven't heard of anyone actually gaining anything from using them. The calls I get are always about industrial hearing loss, and its always the same law firms.
