Got a call, someone with a thick Liverpudlian accent asking for me by name about some made-up accident. Told him cold calling is against the law and I’d be reporting him to Ofcom. He was really cheeky then just dropped the call.

Bloke with a heavy Liverpool accent said he was from the DVLA, ringing about an accident that supposedly happened in the last couple of years. For starters, why on earth would the DVLA ring about an accident? Plus, aren’t they based in Wales, not Liverpool? I told him I was at work and to call back tomorrow. Then I blocked the number straight away!

Got a call from someone about an accident claim, saying their system showed I'd been in an accident in the last couple of years. I told them that was wrong as I've never had one. They just kept insisting they had the info on their system. I kept saying it was a mistake, then suddenly they just blurts out "shut up you f***ing slut" and slammed the phone down. That's just beyond rude, honestly.

This 0151 211 3691 number keeps ringing me up loads! Had a chat with a woman today who had a Liverpudlian accent and honestly, she was just as rude and clueless as the guys. She claimed she’d never called me before, but the weird thing is, she rang about three weeks back and we had the exact same talk - I knew her voice straight away. I keep blocking the numbers but new ones keep popping up and getting through.

person injury claims - some bloke called ‘richard’ ringing about the ‘accident I supposedly had’ - told him to stop calling, and this time he said he worked for first direct. i’ve had calls from the same downright rude and cocky lad from liverpool at least three times now (he gets proper defensive if you question him). even after saying don't ring again, he just switches numbers - one was 02039368625. today i couldn't tell if it was the same moody liverpudlian as i hung up before he got going.

Got a terrible call from some scouse Liverpool scammer asking if I’d had an accident. Got really nasty when I asked what company he was with and stuff. He even threatened to ring me again. Honestly, some folks need to stay in school and find a proper job.

They keep ringing my mobile, I didn’t answer and a few seconds later they rang my landline which I hardly ever use and it’s unlisted. They asked if I was Miss or Mrs and said they were from direct response. If they’re chasing an accident from over a year ago, I don’t think that’s very direct! Someone rang asking for me by first name and mentioned a “bump” on my car. Told them I didn't have a clue what they were on about and it wasn’t my problem. When I asked if it was someone else at my place, they weren’t sure. Then I asked for the address they had, they just stammered and cut me off.
