I got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, saying my internet was running slowly. But when I asked for my account details and address, the guy gave me some random number and didn’t even know my name. He had an Indian accent. As soon as I told him he was a scammer and to bugger off, he just hung up. Pretty clear they were trying to get into my computer.
