Yesterday around midday (9-9-2024), I got a call supposedly from BT about some dodgy activity linked to an illegal IP address. Apparently, this IP was connected to at least five banks. When asked to name them, the caller mentioned three I knew, which made me quite suspicious. I told them I was hanging up as the line started crackling and clicking weirdly. After checking the number, it turned out to be some “Solutions” centre, which I have no dealings with. Felt off, probably just another scam in these times.
