I didn’t quite get to the end of that little charade, as they hung up on me when I started feigning concern and quipped if they could rescue me from this lurking virus! Classic tactic, isn’t it?

Today, I received two calls from this number. I missed the first one. When I picked up the second time, the chap claimed there were issues with my 'personal' computer. I mentioned that I was at work, and he promptly hung up. He introduced himself as Jack and claimed to be from Global IT. Odd, isn't it?
