I got a call on my mobile pretending to be from HMRC saying I had to press 1. When I didn't, the person on the other end threatened that if I didn't press 1, they'd issue a warrant for my arrest straight away. It was quite scary, so I rang BT Call Protect to check it out. They told me it was a scam and there was no need to panic. Apparently, these scammers pick unused numbers and hang up quick so they can't be traced. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else gets a similar call.
