Received a call just now from someone touting a ridiculous offer, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I'm quite sceptical about it, to say the least!

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse and started bloody insulting me, saying horrible things about my mum and daughter after I told them to take me off their list. They just kept getting more rude. If they ring back, I’m gonna mess about with them for sure.

I just let it ring, didn’t answer.

I’ve gotten calls from 01511225611 before, and I’m pretty sure it’s just another scammer trying their luck. Wouldn't trust it, honestly.

Today, I received a call from this number while I was out and about. I chose not to pick up. After sifting through the comments on this site, I’ve decided to block the number.

I got a call from a bloke who had such a terrible Indian accent, it was really hard to understand him. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he just went and said “f**k you” straight away! I told him he should probably sort out his English before he tries to be rude to people like that!

I got a call from 0151 122 5611 around 1:30pm, but didn’t pick up cause the number was unfamiliar. Good job I looked it up here afterwards though - cheers to everyone who shared their experiences! :)

I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, saying I could get an amazing phone offer. It sounded way too good to be true, and they wanted all my personal info over the phone. Definitely a scam!

Received a call from someone purporting to be from Car Phone Warehouse, inquiring about who my mobile service provider is.

I received a rather dubious call not long ago, where the individual on the line purported to be associated with Carphone Warehouse. However, it quickly became evident that this was no genuine representative, but rather a scammer operating out of India. I implore you all to refrain from divulging any personal information. Once they have snagged enough details, they’ll promptly hang up, only to go ahead and order a new contract along with a handset in your name. What’s more, they’ll likely ring you up again after a few days, feigning that they've sent you the wrong device, and will ask you to return it to some random address-most likely a spoofed one-so they can pocket their ill-gotten gains.

I had a rather curious conversation with this individual who phoned me up. He claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse and inquired about my network provider. I pointed out that they were the ones who sold me the phone in the first place. Then, he asked me about the model I owned, to which I responded that he ought to know since he sold it to me, too. Next, he requested my sort code and proceeded to share a rather dramatic sob story about being impoverished and having gone without food for two days. He mentioned his mother was gravely ill and then asked if I identified as a Christian. When I inquired about his beliefs in an afterlife, he suddenly claimed his mother had passed away - apparently, she had taken her last breath while he was concocting this nonsense to try and con me. He went on about his desperate situation, continually lamenting about needing money. When I challenged him, questioning how a person of faith could stoop to such deceit, he seamlessly reverted to his scripted narrative, demanding the name of my network provider once more. It was quite astonishing how he openly acknowledged his intentions to deceive yet still anticipated that I would be easily swayed. I enjoy messing with these callers; I keep my information close to the chest as they often use it to procure things fraudulently under your name.

Not sure whose number this is so I just let it ring out. It only buzzes for a bit then cuts off, so I didnt pick up.

Some guy called saying he was John from Carphone Warehouse. When I told him I wasn’t one of their customers, he just shouted some rude word at me and slammed the phone down. Weird experience!

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, said it was from Liverpool. Feels a bit dodgy, probably some scam attempt if you ask me.

Called me twice within a couple of minutes, but as soon as I picked up, the call dropped. Very odd!

I received a barrage of 8 phone calls in just half an hour.

This number keeps calling but my phone flags it as possible scam every time it rings. Needless to say, I’m not picking up.

This number keeps ringing me but I have no clue who it could be. Really irritating.

I picked up 01511225611 but stayed silent, and they hung up almost immediately after.

I just ignored the call 'cause I didn't recognise the number.
