I just received a rather dubious automated call claiming that I'd missed a call from my internet service provider regarding some supposed illegal activity associated with my broadband - an absolute fabrication, if you ask me! The message ominously warned that my internet could be suspended for a whole 24 to 48 hours. Strangely enough, they didn’t even bother to mention the name of my ISP, which struck me as odd. They urged me to press ‘1’ to be connected, but I decided against it. Moments later, the line simply went silent. Quite suspicious, don’t you think?
