I got a robo call saying there’s a warrant for me over some HMRC fraud case. It told me to press 1 to talk to someone. So I did, and this bloke with a heavy Indian accent answered, all polite and stuff. When I told him I knew it was a scam and that I was recording the call, he just hung up on me. Definitely not how HMRC handles things. The caller ID showed a Liverpool number, not one of those usual 0330 HMRC lines.
